Dr Ali was recommended to me for the diagnosis of a skin condition. I am so pleased with the way in which he dealt with my biopsy surgery. He is very caring, courteous and fully explained the procedure he carried out. I was quite concerned regarding the biopsy results, but he made me feel confident that whatever the result, I would be in good hands.
Fortunately it was a good outcome and he so kindly rang me as soon as the results came through. This was such a caring thing to do. I will have no hesitation in returning to him for my skin problems in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone.
Overall, my experience with Professor Ali was outstanding. I’m not used to being a patient but Professor Ali quickly put any nerves to rest in championing both a professional and friendly manner. He also offered expert advice I was not able to obtain from other healthcare professionals, ascertained all my ideas, addressed all my concerns and met all my expectations. His communication was stellar, empathy profound and bedside manner was excellent. All in all, Professor Ali is a brilliant doctor and I’m so pleased that I saw him; absolutely my first port of call for any future dermatology complaints!
In July 2022 Dr Ali diagnosed a Right Nasal Ala Basel Cell Carcinoma which had started out as a small mole, but had now grown a lot larger and had started to bleed. The NHS waiting time was twelve weeks but Dr Ali saw me in a week at The Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield. On 13 August I had the Mohs Micrographical Surgery and a skin graph from my right shoulder to aid the recovery at Discover Laser Clinic at Burnley. A week later Doctor Ali changed the dressing at the Spire Hospital in Manchester.
It is now six months later and all I have to show for the surgery are two tiny scars. I would like to thank Doctor Ali and his team for their excellent, kind and considerate care, and wish them all the best in the future
